Board Certified Music Therapist
Rhythm and Bloom Therapy is seeking a Board Certified Music Therapist to provide Special Instruction and Developmental Music Therapy within Early Intervention Services for children (0–3 yrs.) in Dauphin County and Cumberland County PA. Services are delivered in the child’s natural environment (home, childcare centers, community locations, etc.).
Job Responsibilities
- Provide special instruction/developmental music therapy to children ages birth to three years who qualify for Early Intervention Services and their caregivers/families in their home and/or community settings.
- Coach caregivers in supporting their child’s development within their natural environment and daily routines.
- Communicate developmental information and clinical opinions
- Collaborate across interdisciplinary team and refer to community and other professionals
- Maintain documentation of delivery of services and progress towards achieving outcomes.
Requirements
- Board Certification from Certification Board for Music Therapists
- One Year of professional or supervised clinical experience serving young children
- Must not be excluded from enrolling in Pennsylvania’s Promise System
- Original child abuse clearance, criminal record clearance, and FBI clearance approving the individual for work with children.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work in and around Dauphin and Cumberland County PA
